ROM After Dark Valentine's 2026: Late-Night Museum Party on February 14
Forget the prix fixe dinner. The Royal Ontario Museum is hosting ROM After Dark: Valentines on Friday, February 14, 2026, transforming one of the world's great museums into a late-night party celebrating love, friendship, and community.
What's Included
From 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM, the museum opens its galleries for an adults-only evening featuring:
- Live performances and curated DJ sets throughout the building
- Full access to current exhibitions including Sharks (through March 22)
- Saints, Sinners, Lovers, and Fools: 300 Years of Flemish Masterworks
- Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition
- Cash bars and food stations throughout the museum
- The stunning Michael Lee-Chin Crystal architecture lit up for the occasion
Why ROM After Dark Works
There is something uniquely electric about wandering museum galleries at night with a drink in hand. The dinosaur galleries take on a completely different character after dark, and the Sharks exhibition hits different when the crowds thin out and the lighting shifts. It is one of Toronto's best date nights, but it works equally well as a Galentine's or group outing.
Tickets and Details
Tickets start at $40 and tend to sell out. The museum is at 100 Queen's Park, directly above Museum station on Line 1. The event is 19+.
